Brinton Fox of Boone Fox Farm will guide you through the process of how to design a centerpiece arrangement using Lisianthus as the focal flower. While floral designers are aware of the beauty of Lisianthus, they are not as well known by the general public. We want to change that!

Lisianthus are often compared to roses due to their similar petal shapes. Lisianthus are a great alternative to roses in floral design, which are known to be grown with harmful chemicals and are flown in from other countries. Lisianthus also have an incredible vase life - easily 14+ days, as long as proper floral care is taken!

Looking to learn how to create your own arrangements for an upcoming event, diy wedding, garden club meeting, church? This is for you! Our Floral Design Workshops are perfect for hobby floral designers looking to expand their skills and knowledge of local flowers. All participants will leave with a ceramic vase and their own unique floral creation. Tools for arranging, flowers, and instruction will be provided by BFF.

No experience is required for this class, but participants that have attended previous workshops will be able to explore deeper into their design skills with this specific focal flower.

Workshops are hosted in an outdoor location under the shaded pavilion on the property. While the areas where we will be located on the property are fairly easy to navigate, know that you will be walking on mulched wood and gravel. Tables and chairs will be provided for attendees in our workshop space. Bathrooms are close to our workshop space. Parking available on site.

We will have a brief tour of the farm prior to the workshop for participants to see more of our farm’s operation.

If weather is too severe to host our workshop in the covered pavilion, we will move the workshop into an inside location on the property.

Other than an extreme case of Boone Fox Farm cancelling due to weather, workshops are non-refundable after purchasing, but you are welcome to offer your spot to a friend to come in your place or transfer to a workshop of equivalent cost!
