Workshops on the Farm

Discover the art of floral design at one of our on-farm workshops at Boone Fox Farm! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore your creativity.

In our workshops, you will:

  • Gain practical design skills: Learn essential techniques for arranging flowers, selecting the right materials, and understanding color theory.

  • Create beautiful arrangements: Each participant will have the chance to design their own floral centerpiece, perfect for home decor or special occasions.

  • Enjoy a supportive atmosphere: Connect with fellow floral enthusiasts while receiving personalized guidance and feedback.

  • Take home your creation and skills: Not only will you create a beautiful arrangement that day, but you'll also leave with the knowledge and confidence to recreate them!

Join us for a flower filled experience that will enhance your floral design skills and provide a relaxing escape from the everyday.

New this season - Bloom Walks!

Experience walking the flower fields with Brinton Fox of Boone Fox Farm and learn more intimately about the flowers we grow. Participants will harvest their own flowers alongside Brinton, and then finish up the evening with creating a bouquet to take home.

Perfect for gardeners, budding cut flower growers, and those looking to get more insight into how to harvest flowers correctly for use in arranging.

Workshops are hosted on the farm, located in the Rosewood neighborhood.

1005 Airport Blvd, Columbia, SC 29205

Workshops are hosted in an outdoor location under the shaded pavilion on the property. While the areas where we will be on the property are easy to navigate, know that you will be walking on mulched wood and gravel. Tables and chairs will be provided for attendees in our workshop space. Bathrooms are close to our workshop space.

We will have a brief tour of the farm prior to designing for participants to see our flower operation.

In the chance of rain or cold, an alternative greenhouse location is available for us to host our Floral Design Workshops. We will make sure to choose the best location for providing a comfortable experience for our workshop guests on the day of your workshop!

If weather is too severe to host our Bloom Walks for the original date, we will reschedule as far in advance as possible. If cancelling the workshop is needed, we will reach out to attendees individually to discuss alternative options to transfer your spot to another workshop or offering refund for your workshop date.

Other than this extreme case of Boone Fox Farm cancelling due to weather, workshops are non-refundable after purchasing, but you are welcome to offer your spot to a friend to come in your place!
