Upcoming WORKSHOPs FOR
Late Summer and Fall 2025
AUGUST WORKSHOP -
DATE TBA
Design Focus: Dried Floral Wreath!
We will explore the art of creating a wreath out of dried flowers - all grown, harvested, and dried right here at Boone Fox Farm.
SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP -
Date TBA
Design Focus: The transition of summer to fall, both in terms of colors and floral textures. We harvest a lot of MARIGOLDS, CELOSIA and GOMPHRENA this time of year, so you can expect to be arranging with these late summer and early fall beauties!
OCTOBER WORKSHOP -
DATE TBA
Design Focus: DAHLIAS!
Dahlias are the showstopper focal flowers of the Fall. We will learn to create substantially sized centerpiece arrangements with these fall delights.
Workshops are hosted on the farm, located at the City Roots property in the Rosewood neighborhood.
1005 Airport Blvd, Columbia, SC 29205
Workshops are hosted in an outdoor location under the shaded pavilion on the property. While the areas where we will be located on the property are fairly easy to navigate, know that you will be walking on mulched wood and gravel. Tables and chairs will be provided for attendees in our workshop space. Bathrooms are close to our workshop space.
We will have a brief tour of the farm prior to the workshop for participants to see more of our flower operation at the City Roots property.
If weather is too severe to host our workshops on the original date, we will reschedule as far in advance as possible. If cancelling the workshop is needed, we will reach out to attendees individually to discuss alternative options to transfer your spot to another workshop or offering refund for your workshop date.
Other than this extreme case of Boone Fox Farm cancelling due to weather, workshops are non-refundable or exchangeable after purchasing, but you are welcome to offer your spot to a friend to come in your place!
Participants during a workshop in September.
Dahlia workshops will be held in October!
